Garth Brooks announced his comeback in October 2013, and the Garth Brooks World Tour kicked off on September 4, 2014, in Rosemont, Illinois. The tour was a huge success, grossing over $500 million and selling over 7 million tickets.
The Garth Brooks World Tour included over 300 shows in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Brooks also performed two shows at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland, which were the first concerts ever held at the stadium. The tour ended on September 10, 2017, in Nashville, Tennessee.
