Titanic Thompson, a remarkable figure of the early 20th century, was a hustler and golfer whose exploits left a lasting mark. Among his repertoire of tricks, Thompson would engage in a game of golf, skillfully playing as a right-handed player and securing victory. Then he offered his opponents a chance to reclaim their losses by challenging them to a double or nothing match, this time playing left-handed. What his opponents didn't know was that Thompson, in his natural state, possessed an innate left-handed prowess.

In an era when professional golfers could aspire to earn a respectable $30,000 per year, Thompson defied all conventions and shattered records. His exceptional talent and strategic wits allowed him to amass a staggering sum of $30,000 in just a single week.
