Note (musical)

A musical note is a small bit of sound, similar to a syllable in speaking a language.

The Earth makes a musical note that we can't hear as it turns.

The lowest note in the known universe is caused by the rumbling of a black hole in the Perseus galaxy - 57 octaves below middle C.

American singer Tim Storms sang in 2012 the lowest note ever sung, a G eight octaves below the lowest G on a piano—too low for humans to hear.

The actor/comedian Chevy Chase has "Absolute Pitch", which is defined as being able to identify or re-create any given musical note without the benefit of a reference tone.

Wrens can sing 36 notes a second.

Most toilets flush in E flat.
